Some lovely R&R in Naples

We are really having a great time at the beach in Naples Florida. Jason's sweet sister Jill planned this adult trip and we are sure enjoying our time here at the Ritz.

We all opted for a shower tonight. Since it was Smiths first official I was asked by the other two to take a pic. Just another Friday night at the Brawner house. What did we do on Friday night before kids?

Jackson's first flag football game

Jackson did great in his first flag football game. He got one touchdown, two extra points and did some serious blocking. Who knew our string bean could play football. He had so much fun. We signed him up on a team where we really knew no one at all and the kids have all played before. So the blue jays won their first game last night and the Brawner family might have a future football player in their midst! We'll see! About 6 more games!

Smith's Kindermusic

My Mom & Dad gave Smith Kindermusick class with Miss Ellen for his birthday. He really loves it. He does a great job in story time and is very attentive. He is working on attending to the activities of the class as often he doesn't want to hold the instruments. He wants Mommy to hold them for him (oh dear). He also enjoys running around during circle time. It is a fun activity and I am so glad to get to do it with Big Smith. I did it with Jackson and Mollie Jane too so I've just about completed a full decade of Kindermusik!

We love swimming lessons

This is Mollie Jane's feeling about swimming lessons today. We're in the car and she's saying I want Smith to do swimming lessons not me! Honestly, it's hard to believe this is the five year old daughter of a college swimmer! I'd like to say she was a bit tired and we had a busy weekend but the real truth is she is extremely fearful of learning to swim! I know she'll thank me one day but today wasn't that day.

Kindergarten shots aren't so bad at the Brawner house

Waiting in the exam room right before our shots. All smiles and we were chowing on our blue ring pop. This is actually my dress from when I was five and the one I wore on my first day of Kindergarten.

We try to make a fun day out of kindergarten shots. We did this for Jackson too! We get to go pick out a special toy at the store of your choice. Of course, my kids always choose Toys R Us cauz we never go there. I was able to talk her out of this $64 walking dog & we escaped Toys R Us with a $14 princess dress.

Fun with the Frech's

I had the pleasure of watching our friends children today. Our kids love each other and play so well. After church we're loading up in my car & I turn around and am looking for Smith to put in the car and from the back seat I hear, "ride with boys". It was precious. He climbed in with them and was just sitting in the seat like a big boy. We are starting to see so many more moments with Smith where he is wanting to do what his older siblings do (especially Jackson).

Shopping at Sams

We love our friends the Frech's! This was a photo of me and all the kids shopping at Sam's today! We were quite a site! The checkout man was literally laughing! Daddy see what fun you miss when you're at army duty!

Smith's first day of school

> Smith had his first day of school. The big boy goes one day a week from 9-2. He does great and doesn't cry but when you ask him if he wants to go to school or if he likes school he says "no school". He does awesome but the reality is he's definitely the baby of our crazy family and he'd rather be with Mama!

Mollie Jane's 1st day of school

Mollie Jane is so excited about Kindergarten. She goes five days a week from 9-12. She has a new teacher named Miss Angie. We think she'll be a great fit for Mollie Jane. Thank goodness we are still in a class with our best friend Caden!
