The Bears last game

It was the Bears last game before our big tournament.  My family and Jason's Dad (our Big) was there and got to see Jackson hit and catch and witness him eat an entire footlong sandwich!

My family came to Camp!!

My sister and her family came for a super fun visit.  It was incredibly hot that week at Barnabas but we managed to stay busy at the pool as much as we could.  We even got Mammy down the water slide.  It was fun to have them there for term 5 and they got to experience all the fun from some of our favorite campers (Preston and Joe)!

Closing Ceremonies for Term 4 and Mollie Jane's Rhonda leaving

The Lord your God is with your, the mighty warrior who saves you.  He will take great delight in you.  He will quiet you with his love.  He will no longer rebuke you.  He will rejoice over you with song.  Zephaniah 3:17
Mollie Jane's Rhonda left.  Mollie Jane colored her this precious picture of she and Rhonda.  It was a sweet moment that the only words that really capture the moment is Zephaniah 3:17.  Mollie Jane got to finger paint with chocolate pudding with Rhonda and Mallory the day before they left.  We also found out that our sweet Jamie who did Prep last year with us got a job.  Rhonda surprised me with the birthday rap on breakfast morning on her closing day.  Term four was an amazing term packed with so many memories.  We also had to say goodbye to our sweet Cristin.  She came back in July for cabin staff but the Brawner house really missed her.  It would take a few pages to really write my gratefulness for our Cristin Herbort.  She is a beautiful person inside and out.  An incredibly hard worker who never, ever complains.  She embodied Mark 12:30 to my children and my household "Love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your mind and with all your strength."   God gave the most amazing role model to my three children for the month of June.  Smith was bawling when Cristin pulled out of our camp driveway and no it wasn't because he thought she had "Jeff Gorvete" it was because he like myself was so sad to see her leave.

Ist day of Springfield Lutheran School 2012

The first day of school.  The kids were soo excited.  I can't believe Mollie Jane is in school all day.  It was so sad without her all day.  Mollie Jane was so filled with excitement about school that even if I wanted to cry cauz I was going to miss her, I couldn't.  She loved it.  She said it was sooo much fun.
