Oh Tom the Toad

My kids have been very into making "habitats." They are constantly collecting bugs for their habitats and digging in my trash looking for something they could make into a habitat. Several nights ago at my sister in laws house in Branson my kids found a big toad & named him Tom. They decided Tom needed to come home so we transported him in a shoebox and Jackson insisted on putting him in a "really nice habitat" since he wasn't just an insect but an amphibian. Oh dear!! So Tom now lives in Jackson's room in a converted fish tank. Jackson asked his teacher Ms Lynn if Tom could be third grade show and tell. So Tom went to school with Jackson in his habitat & ate a few crickets for the class! Jackson was so proud!
